Great Bear Sioux Falls Great Bear Recreation Park is just outside of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and is the only ski hill in the area.  Great Bears main attraction during the summer is hiking, however when the snow comes the park becomes very active.

Great Bear opened in the late 1960’s and has become more popular each year.  The park has 12 downhill trails and a beginners bunny hill for practicing.  There is also a tubing hill with 4 lanes and a rope lift to pull you up the hill.

Great Bear has become popular in Sioux Falls because of the consistent amount of snow on the ground during the winter months.  They do have the capability to make their own snow and have been able to manage the snow depth very well in the past years.

You can get season passes to Great Bear for either you or the family.  Also, if you purchase season tickets before October 31 you can save $40.
